Rachelle Rae & The Banned

Lead Vocalist
Rachelle's been singing since her earliest memory, changing the words to the songs she had been taught. She grew up attending an acapella singing church, developing a love of harmony & learning the different parts by singing along. Her musical evolution began with bands like ABBA (loved their harmonies), progressed through 'New Wave', the 'Grunge' scene, etc. She went back & started listening to the iconic legends of rock: Heart, Janis, Led Zepp, the Stones, Tina & fell in love with their passion & power. "I knew that's what I wanted to incorporate into my vocals." Rachelle has performed solo, in duets & bands from Oklahoma to Michigan as well as onstage in musicals.
Luis Fernandes - Drums, Beats, Sticks, Steaks
In a Band with name that a TV cooking show stole "its" name from... we are very proud that our drummer is also a master chef. How do you want them drums.... medium rare?
Jack Regis - Bass
Been playing bass since the 60's.
Remembers some of the 70's.
Favorite bands: Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Stones, The Beatles.
Not favorite bands: Pretty much all the "hair bands".
Having a great time working with The Banned.
The End
Brad Norman - Keyboards
Brad started playing the piano at the age of 5, when his dad had a player piano delivered to the home.  Fascinated by both the sound and the movement of the keys, he quickly developed an ear for music.  Within a few short years, he also took up the trumpet - along with his studies on the piano and by the age of 16, he was playing professionally in instrumental combos at weddings and private parties.  After deciding to give the trumpet "a rest" after his senior year of high school, he set his sights on keyboards, once again, and focused on the sound that was happening in the early '70s.  A brief stint as a factory worker at Buick Motor Division, he saved enough money to buy himself an electric piano and a Hammond B-3 / Leslie combo - something he had dreamed of owning since being exposed to the sounds of the likes of Felix Cavaliere and The Young Rascals, The J. Geils Band, Bob Seger, and many others.  1977 saw the start of many bands he played in around the Michigan area.  In 1981 he joined Question Mark & the Mysterians, after a re-make of "96 Tears" prompted Question Mark ("Que") to come out of semi-retirement.  The tour of 1981 landed a write-up and photo shot in Rolling Stone Magazine's May 25th, 1981 issue.  After 1982, he played in various local bands around the Flint area - and has continued to do so into recent years - including a band that included Rachelle Rae and Jack Regis that was one of the rotating bands in the Flint area a few short years ago.
  Don Davis - Guitar
Not much is known about Don yet. When he tells us, we'll tell you! :-)
